September, 2006 St. Nick's Pub

"This one was one of the best shows I've ever done.  Packed house, 3 sets, horn section, keyboards, full band, man,  ...the 2nd set was all my originals (and you would never guess that we were unrehearsed)...and I'm pretty sure I was barefoot for most of the show!"

August 31, 2006 Hank's Saloon

Hank's just happened to be around the corner from where I was living in Boerum Hill, downtown BK at the time.   It was already my neighborhood hangout/watering hole, not to mention home of Monday Night Kuntry Karaoke.  So I was real psyched when the owner John let me play on short notice.  It was a weekday, we did it for the love.  DeAriesha played brilliantly with no snare drum and a maxipad taped to the back of the bass drum.  Jabrel on guitar was the reincarnation of Jimi himself, with a purple velvet hat, bellbottoms and a paisley shirt (they both sported afros).  It was also a fairwell to my love and best friend Billy who was going away for 10 months.
